Alex adjaGba, MD
Dr. Alex Adjagba currently serves as a Senior Health Specialist with UNICEF Headquarters. He was formerly the Director of the Health Policy and Institutional Development Unit, a World Health Organization collaborating center, at the Agence de Medecine Preventive (AMP) in France. In addition to his clinical medicine experience (pediatrics), he has experience conducting malaria vaccine research and in economic evaluations of health interventions. Dr. Adjagba holds a MD from the University of
Benin, and a MS in health policy planning and financing from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences/London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has attended advisory boards and steering committees for the WHO and Universities and authored 17 publications in peer-reviewed
journals. A resident of Benin and France, Dr. Adjagba currently resides in Nariobi, Kenya and works out of the UNICEF Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office.
