Michelle Turner, Executive Director
Michelle comes to The Addis Clinic from her most recent position as a Development Consultant. In this role, she supported multiple non-profit organizations in achieving their funding and capacity goals. Previously, Michelle served as a Development Director for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) as well as a successful Executive Recruiter working with multi-national medical device and equipment companies. With a Master of Science in Public Health and Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology, Michelle brings a passion for providing all people with access to quality medical care. She and her husband have been deeply involved in the foster care system and are the proud parents of 6 beautiful children. Originally from NY, Michelle currently lives in NC where her husband is stationed as a Chaplain in the U.S. Navy.
Meghan Moretti, Clinical Operations Manager Meghan is a practicing Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse. Prior to joining The Addis Clinic, she cared for a diverse population in Savannah, GA as a primary care provider in an outpatient Family Practice clinic, and currently provides care to patients at various health clinics throughout Columbus, GA. Previously, Meghan was a registered staff nurse in a regional all-specialty pediatric intensive care unit in the New York metropolitan area.
A U.S. Army Veteran, Meghan holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from the United States Military Academy, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbia University, and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Pace University. Originally from Massachusetts, Meghan lives with her family outside of Fort Benning, GA where her husband is stationed with the U.S. Army.
Sena Tsikata, Project Coordinator
Sena joins The Addis Clinic with over 10 years of experience developing organizational systems with a strategic focus on fundraising within the non-profit sector. A performer and passionate supporter of the arts, Sena also enjoys designing programs which engage communities within the African diaspora in the process of social change. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Erin Kim, Research
Erin brings 10 years of experience working in the global health and development sector. Prior to joining the Addis Clinic, Erin was a Technical Advisor at the U.S. Agency for International Development. In this role, she provided programmatic, strategic, and technical support on projects focused on HIV/AIDS and family planning. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature from the University of Chicago and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Management from Boston University School of Public Health. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her family, and enjoys getting outside and hitting the trails whenever possible.
Ani Jilozian, Grant Writer
Ani brings 10 years of experience working in global health and research. Prior to joining The Addis Clinic as a grant writer, Ani lived in Armenia for 6 years, where she carried out grant writing and other administrative tasks for Armenia's premiere domestic violence center. During this time, she also spearheaded research studies in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights, led educational programs for women and girls, and carried out advocacy and lobbying actions. Ani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Music from Muhlenberg College and a Master of Public Health from the Icahn School of Public Health at Mount Sinai. She currently lives with her family in the UK, where she enjoys strolls in the park and practicing yoga.
Janina Seibel, Digital and Social Media
Janina is a journalist at heart with a passion for Social Media. She enjoys all things communication and especially creating compelling video content. Together with her husband, a Social Media Professor, they started the “Social Media Days Boston” a bustling conference and Social Media Network. She invests her time and passion for The Addis Clinic because making a difference in people’s live motivates her!
Zach Halloran, Lead Developer
Zach brings over 10 years of experience developing technology platforms for international health nonprofits to The Addis Clinic. Zach joined our technology development team in June, 2015 and has been instrumental in guiding the development of our telemedicine platform. Zach holds an MS in Information Systems and an MBA from Boston University.
